Viola House

Viola House is a family-owned guest house located in a quiet and green area of Heviz. We do our best to offer a cozy stay for our guests. Viola is always ready to welcome everyone, introduce Heviz and the most important sites and depending on the season, offer some fruit or vegetables from the garden.

The apartments offer all the equipment you might need during your holiday. A fully equipped private kitchen and bathroom belong to each room on top of which you’ll have a private balcony which is the best possible place for sipping your morning tea or coffee. If you need anything during your stay, just come by and ask us, we might be able to help you out.

The house is located in a really nice and calm area of Heviz, about 20 min walking from the famous thermal lake. For our more adventures guests we offer free bike rental option and in case possible, we are happy to go pick you up by car at the bus station in Heviz.

We had a wonderful stay at Viola's place and we highly recommend it as a very relaxing, peaceful holiday apartment. Everything was exactly as described. Viola is a very thoughtful host. She met us at the bus station and she and her husband kindly drove us to their home/airbnb. Viola explained everything in detail. She left us a lovely bottle of home-made wine and fresh fruit. The apartment is super comfortable. The wifi works great. We really enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and down to the geothermal lake. Everything is within walking distance and Heviz has many tree lined streets so walking is quite enjoyable. The bikes that Viola provides for guests is a real bonus. We spent many enjoyable days cycling on the great bike paths in the area. All is all, this is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at and we feel very grateful for the experience. Thank-you Viola!

Viola was a lovely host, she met us straight from the bus station and drove us to the apartment giving us lots of advice about the area on the way. The apartment we stayed in was lovely, comfortable beds, a balcony and everything we needed for a three night stay. Viola had even left us some of her home grown fruit and vegetables which was lovely! Great value with everything you would want or need, thankyou!

The accommodation was very clean, the amenities excellent, towels and toiletries as soap, toilet paper, washing up liquid were provided... plenty of dishes, pans and cutlery provided. All in all a fantastic experience with the hostess who spoke English and German to our delight as we are bilingual and she made us feel as if we were at home. Enjoy the housemade wine and grapes and pears on arrival. This lady can be proud of her achievement. We will definitely return.
